The MSD 6 Series Ignition Controls are available with different features, however each ignition shares the same output characteristics.  Each 6 Series Ignition features MSD's proven capacitive discharge, multiple sparking design.  Below 3,000 rpm, the MSD's produce a series a series of sparks that lasts for 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation.  This powerful series of sparks ensures combustion of the fuel mixture resulting in quick starts, smooth idle and great throttle response.  At higher rpm, the capacitive discharge circuits deliver full power sparks to produce great power throughout the entire rpm range of your engine.  An MSD Ignition  will connect to points, electronic ignitions and magnetic pickups on vehicles equipped with a distributor and a 12 volt negative ground electrical system.

MSD 6A

MSD stands for Multiple Spark Discharge.  Assures complete combustion by capacitive discharge; multiple sparks add power for reduced plug fouling, quicker starting, better performance.  MSD 6A is 100,000 volts.

MSD6-OFFROAD

Designed for heavy-duty use.  Encased in an epoxy compoune; vibration & water-proof.  100,000 volts.

MSD-6AL

Based on the MSD-6A, with built-in soft-touch rev control to keep your engine from over-revving.  Adjustable RPM limit with 3000, 6000, 7000 and 8000 RPM plug-in modules.

RPM MODULE SELECTOR

Plugs into the RPM module socket on your MSD 6AL.  Instead of plugging in different chips, simply dial in your RPM from 3000 to 5200 RPM
